Dr. Stuart J Knechtle, MD

University of Wisconsin – Madison
Dr. Knechtle is currently appointed as a Professor in the Division of Transplantation of the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Department of Surgery. He completed his residency training in surgery, as well as research fellowship in transplantation immunology at Duke University. Dr. Knechtle also completed a fellowship in transplant surgery at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Dr. Knechtle has also served on the American Transplant Congress Joint 2003 and 2004 Executive Planning Committee and is currently serving on the Steering Committee for the Solid Organ Transplantation in HIV: Multi-Site Study.
