Dr. Anita S. Chong

Dr. Anita S. Chong, PhD

BSc (Hons) University of Malaya (1981)
Ph.D. Australian National University (1985)

Dr. Chong is currently appointed as an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago.
Her laboratory has developed a tolerance-induction strategy in mice involving the transplantation of intact bone fragments that provide a stable source of donor cells in conjunction with transient anti-CD40 monoclonal antibodies treatments

Dr. Chong’s laboratory also studies the immunology of antibody-mediated xenograft rejection and accommodation, as well as pancreatic islet cell transplantation.
